In this fantasy romance drama, Lin Luo Jing (Zheng Qiu Hong), a talented electronics student, is mysteriously transported into a fantastical version of ancient China while participating in a video game contest. Trapped in this new world, she meets four dashing suitors who vie for her affections, but she also faces challenges from the Emperor and bandits. As she navigates this strange new world, Lin Luo Jing finds herself falling in love repeatedly, but her quest to escape and return to her modern life remains unfulfilled. A quirk of fate denies her the chance to leave, and she feels destined to spend her days completing missions that feel like they're straight out of a video game. Despite this, she chooses to spend her time with the devoted Zhong Wu Mei (Gong Jun), but a new challenge emerges when a former lover is resurrected as a Persian prince who seeks to confront Zhong Wu Mei.
