"Transplant" is a medical drama series that follows the story of Dr. Bashir Hamed, a Syrian refugee who flees his war-torn country to start a new life in Canada. Bash, a skilled emergency medicine doctor, must navigate numerous obstacles to resume his career in the high-stakes world of medicine. He works as a line cook at a Middle Eastern restaurant but soon gets an opportunity to prove his mettle when a serious accident occurs. With his training and experience in a war zone, he saves lives using emergency medical techniques and catches the attention of the hospital's chief of emergency medicine. Bash must now balance his new life in Canada with his past experiences and navigate personal and professional challenges to succeed in his new career. The show features an ensemble cast and combines elements of medical procedural with modern immigrant stories, showcasing the highs and lows of working in emergency medicine.
