In the early 1970s, President Richard Nixon's administration was rocked by a scandal that would ultimately lead to his downfall. At the center of the controversy were two men: E. Howard Hunt and G. Gordon Liddy, members of Nixon's secret team of political operatives known as the "White House Plumbers." Tasked with stopping press leaks by any means necessary, Hunt and Liddy's actions would accidentally topple the very presidency they were trying to protect. This five-part limited series tells the gripping true story of how these two men, driven by their zealous loyalty to Nixon, inadvertently brought about one of the biggest political scandals in American history.
