Meet Dave and Vicky, a middle-aged couple struggling to raise their three teenage children on Long Island, New York. With a household full of hormonal ups and downs, they face a daily battle to keep their kids in line. Dave, a cynical and overprotective father, often clashes with his 16-year-old daughter Hillary, who's constantly trying to push boundaries. His 15-year-old son Larry is an oddball who's frequently bullied at school, while his youngest son Mike, a 12-year-old going through puberty, is trying to navigate girlfriends and underage gambling. As the family navigates the challenges of growing up, they must confront their own flaws and imperfections. Will they be able to survive the war at home and send their kids off to college without a police record or kids of their own?
