In the small town of Haven, Maine, strange events begin to occur when a group of residents, including writer Bobbi Anderson and her boyfriend Gard, uncover a mysterious alien spacecraft buried deep in the ground. As they continue to excavate the ship, the townspeople start to exhibit bizarre behavior, developing telepathic abilities and inventing strange gadgets. Gard soon realizes that the alien technology is draining the life force from the townspeople, including Bobbi, and that they must stop the ship from taking off or risk losing everyone they love.
