The Scholar Who Walks the Night

Scholar Who Walks the Night is a South Korean television series set in an alternate Joseon dynasty. The story follows Jo Yang-sun, a young woman who disguises herself as a man to make ends meet, and Kim Sung-yeol, a mysterious scholar who is actually a vampire. Sung-yeol has spent 120 years as a guardian vampire, responsible for getting rid of any vampires who disobey the rules. He meets Yang-sun and decides to pay her to find the memorandum of his best friend, the late Crown Prince Jonghyun, which contains the secret to killing Gwi, an evil vampire who resides in the underground royal palace and uses his powers to prevent Crown Prince Lee Yoon from ascending to the throne. Along their journey together, Sung-yeol finds out that Yang-sun is actually a girl and develops feelings for her. As they get closer to finding the memorandum and uncovering Gwi's true intentions, they must navigate dangerous political intrigue and confront their own personal demons. Will they be able to defeat Gwi before it's too late?
