What is The Politician about? 
The Politician is a comedy series that follows the story of Payton Hobart, a wealthy high school student who has always dreamed of becoming the President of the United States. Set in Santa Barbara, California, the first season sees Payton running for student body president against his popular and athletic classmate, River Barkley. With the help of his ambitious friends, Payton chooses Infinity Jackson, a cancer patient and victim of Munchausen by Proxy disorder, to be his vice-president.
