In the halls of Sakurasou, a dormitory for problem students, Sorata Kanda finds himself in the unlikeliest of roles: protector and caretaker of Mashiro Shiina, a stunning and talented artist who has just transferred to the school. Despite her beauty and brilliance, Mashiro is clueless when it comes to taking care of herself, often getting lost and leaving her room in disarray. As Sorata takes on the task of protecting her from the dormitory's rowdy residents, he finds himself in a peculiar relationship with Mashiro, who depends on him for everything from meals to cleaning her room. With the other students looking up to him as her "master," Sorata must navigate this unconventional bond between a young man and his "pet" in this heartwarming comedy.
