City Hall

City Hall follows the storys of Mi-rae, a low-ranking government clerk who becomes the youngest mayor of a fictional city, Inju City, and her romance with Jo Gook, an ambitious deputy mayor. The story begins when Mi-rae enters a beauty pageant to pay off her debts but is cheated out of the prize money. She then holds a one-person demonstration in front of the city hall which leads to her resignation and the resignation of the corrupt mayor. With no political background but a desire to help her constituents genuinely , Mi-rae becomes elected as the youngest mayor of Inju, and starts to reform the bureaucratic culture of the city administration. However, she butts heads with Jo Gook, who had his presidential ambitions. Will Mi-rae be able to effectively reform the administration while dealing with Jo Gook's political agenda?
