Terra Nostra: Season 1

In the late 19th century, many Italians left their homeland to seek their fortunes in Brazil. Amidst the sweeping changes brought by these European immigrants, a forbidden love story blossomed. "Terra Nostra" chronicles the epic saga of Giuliana and Matteo, who fall in love aboard a ship bound for Brazil. Separated by fate, they follow different paths, only to be reunited years later. Their love reignites, but it comes at a cost: Matteo is married to Rosana, and Giuliana is engaged to Marco. As their complicated web of relationships unfolds, moral issues arise that leave no easy answers. Caught between love and duty, the characters' choices will change their lives forever. Will they find happiness together or succumb to societal pressure?
