Tehran: Season 1

Tehran is a thrilling and suspenseful series that follows the story of Tamar, a young Jewish woman born in Iran but raised in Israel, who works as a hacker for the Mossad. In the first season, Tamar is sent on an undercover mission to Tehran to disable Iran's air defenses and prevent the country from obtaining an atomic bomb. However, her mission fails when her boss tries to rape her and she is forced to go into hiding. In Season 2, prior to being smuggled out of Iran, Tamar accepts a mission to rescue one of the Israeli pilots captured after the failed reactor mission. She encounters Marjan Montazami, a British psychotherapist and local agent for Mossad, who aids in her escape. Tamar's aunt is executed for assisting her, and a devastated Tamar agrees to stay in Tehran with Milad to undertake a new mission: the assassination of Qasem Mohammadi, who has been promoted to head of the Revolutionary Guards. As Tamar works to gain access to Mohammadi by getting close to his son Peyman , Faraz Kamali continues his relentless pursuit of Tamar . Despite several attempts on Mohammadi's life , including poisoning him with an explosive mobile phone ,the mission ultimately ends in tragedy when Milad is killed by car bomb planted by Mossad . The series concludes with Tammar left alone and stranded in Iran
