In the picturesque countryside of Japan's Taisho era, a young man named Tamahiko Shima has lost his way after a tragic accident leaves him without the use of his right hand. His wealthy family sends him away to live in isolation, but his life takes an unexpected turn with the arrival of Yuzuki, a kind-hearted young woman who has been chosen to be his bride. As they navigate their unexpected union, Tamahiko must confront his inner demons and learn to see the world through Yuzuki's optimistic eyes.
