Striking Out follows the story of Tara Rafferty, a successful solicitor in Dublin who leaves her prestigious law firm and cheating fiancé to start her own practice specializing in family and divorce law. Tara's new venture brings her into conflict with powerful families and the legal establishment, while also challenging her own personal beliefs. Along the way, she assembles a team of misfits, including a tech-savvy private investigator and a petty criminal turned office assistant, to help her take on the challenges of her new career.
