Stargirl

In the small town of Blue Valley, Nebraska, teenager Courtney Whitmore discovers a powerful weapon, the Cosmic Staff, and becomes the superheroine Stargirl. With the help of her stepfather Pat Dugan, who was once the sidekick to Starman, Courtney learns to control her powers and becomes the leader of a new generation of superheroes. Together with her friends Yolanda Montez, Beth Chapel, Rick Tyler, and Mike Dugan, they form the Justice Society of America and set out to stop evildoers from their past and present. But their mission is not without challenges as they face off against powerful villains such as Jordan Mahkent/Icicle and his Injustice Society of America. Will Courtney and her team be able to balance their high school lives with their responsibilities as superheroes?
