Sliders

"Sliders" follows a group of unlikely travelers as they embark on a journey through parallel universes, navigating alternate realities and histories in the hopes of finding their way back home. After a test run of a revolutionary new technology goes awry, Quinn Mallory, a boy-genius inventor, and his companions - a professor, a singer, and a co-worker - find themselves lost in a seemingly endless cycle of "sliding" between worlds, each with its own unique version of reality. Along the way, they encounter a myriad of strange and fascinating scenarios, from worlds where penicillin was never discovered to ones where time flows in reverse. As they adapt to their changing surroundings and work to find a way back home, they must also confront the consequences of their actions and the possibility that they may never return to their own universe. Will they be able to find a way back home, or will they be forever lost in the vast expanse of parallel worlds?
