Expectations are high for class 9A, the model class of the school, but their strong hand, teacher Nosov Anatoly Germanovich, suddenly falls ill. Without his guidance, discipline starts to crumble and the once-exemplary class is in chaos. Nosov's rebellious granddaughter Anya and new student Ilya Epifanov challenge the status quo, revealing unexpected sides to their classmates and teachers.
