In the royal courts of Goryeo, a cursed fate binds the lives of Prince Wang So and Princess Shin Yool. Exiled from his rightful place as heir to the throne, Wang So is shunned by his family and lives in isolation. Meanwhile, Shin Yool narrowly escapes death as a child, her fate proclaiming her to be the light of another nation. By chance, the two marry, and through their union, they begin to break free from their predetermined paths. As they grow closer and fall in love, they must confront their destinies and decide whether to shine or go crazy.
