Robin Hood

In this exciting retelling of the classic tale, Robin Hood, played by Jonas Armstrong (2006), has just returned from fighting in the Third Crusade as part of the King's Guard. He returns to England only to find out that his home has been taken over by the evil Sheriff of Nottingham who is ruling with an iron fist and forcing the people to live in poverty and misery. Determined to fight back against this injustice, Robin takes it upon himself to steal from the rich to feed the poor along with his merry men - a group of outlaws that includes his best friend Much, Will Scarlett (Harry Lloyd), Allan A Dale (Joe Armstrong), Little John (Gordon Kennedy), Roy (William Beck), Djaq (Anjali Jay), and Kate (Joanne Froggatt). Alongside them is the beautiful Lady Marian (Lucy Griffiths), who is fighting for justice against the corrupt Sheriff while also navigating her complicated relationship with Robin. The series features an impressive line-up of talented actors, including Richard Armitage as the Sheriff's right-hand man, Sir Guy of Gisborne, who is also in love with Marian. Other notable characters include Tuck (David Harewood), a spiritual preacher returning to England, and Prince John (Toby Stephens), who takes advantage of the rift between Gisborne and Vaisey to exploit their power.
