In the comic book universe of Ancient China, Xia Yu Bing (Dong Si Yi) is a minor, malevolent character who dies early after being poisoned by her husband Xu Zi Yan (Li Ge Yang). Given a second chance by the author in a comic book afterlife, she aims to become the "female lead" and a good character.
