Ramona

Ramona tells the story of a young woman's journey to discover her true identity and find love in a time of racial tension and social change. Against the backdrop of the Mexican territory's impending statehood, Ramona returns to her family ranch after years away and falls for her childhood friend, an Indian man named Alejandro. Their interracial romance faces opposition, and family secrets come to light that reveal the truth about Ramona's birth and heritage.
