In a galaxy where pirates, assassins, and outlaws rule the void, Gene Starwind and his crew aboard the Outlaw Star search for the fabled Galactic Leyline, a place rumored to hold unimaginable riches and power. With the help of his bio-android companion Melfina and a motley cast of bounty hunters, killers, and aliens, Gene must navigate dangerous spaceports, battle fierce enemies, and confront his own demons to claim his place among the stars. But as they draw closer to the Leyline's secrets, they realize that some treasures are better left unfound. Will Gene's gambles pay off or will they fall victim to the dangers that lurk in the shadows of the galaxy?
