One Outs: Season 1

In the high-stakes world of Japanese baseball, a struggling team, the Lycaons, are in dire need of a change. Enter Hiromichi Kojima, the team's star batter, who's determined to turn their fortunes around. In a risky move, Kojima recruits the enigmatic Tokuchi Toua, a 134-kmph pitching prodigy with a reputation for being unbeatable in the shady world of "One Outs" gambling. With an unusual contract that pays him 5,000,000 yen for every out he pitches but costs him 50,000,000 yen for every run he gives up, Tokuchi joins the Lycaons, and a high-level psychological game of baseball, gambling, and logic ensues. As tensions rise and loyalties are tested, will the team emerge victorious or will their risky gamble backfire?
