Nirvana in Fire

In the midst of China's great unrest during the 4th century, a young general named Lin Shu survives a treacherous battle against the hostile Wei army, only to be poisoned and left with a weakened state. Twelve years later, he returns to the capital as Mei Changsu, the leader of the Jiang Zuo Alliance, with a hidden agenda to restore his family's innocence and help his friend, Prince Jing, become emperor. Under the guise of Su Zhe, Lin Shu becomes a strategist for Prince Yu, while secretly assisting Prince Jing and investigating the conspiracy that framed his family. As tensions rise and alliances are formed, Mei Changsu must navigate the treacherous world of politics and war to achieve his goals, all while keeping his true identity a secret.
