In feudal Japan, a young man known as Jirokichi leads a double life. By day, he's a humble peasant, but by night, he transforms into Nezumi-Kozo, a cunning thief who steals from the rich and gives to the poor. With the help of his sister Kosode, Nezumi-Kozo must use his wits and bravery to outsmart his enemies and uncover the truth behind mysterious events, all while evading the relentless inspector Tokugoro. This series follows Nezumi-Kozo's adventures as he fights for justice and freedom in Edo.
