Mystery Road

In the unforgiving Australian outback, a string of mysterious disappearances sets off a chain of events that exposes long-buried secrets and threatens to tear apart the fabric of a small community. Detective Jay Swan, a taciturn and resourceful Aboriginal investigator, is assigned to work with local police sergeant Emma James to solve the case. As they dig deeper, they uncover evidence of drug trafficking and other crimes that have haunted the town for years. But as they get closer to the truth, Jay must confront his own demons and confrontations with his estranged father and former love interest. Will they be able to bring justice to this troubled town before it's too late?
