My Boss, My Hero

In this action-packed comedy series, a 27-year-old high school dropout and tough yakuza member, Sakaki Makio, is forced by his father to return to school and receive his diploma. Makio must pose as a 17-year-old during school hours and in the presence of classmates or teachers outside of school. If his cover is blown, it would mean the end of his high school career and his hopes to become the next yakuza boss. Despite the challenges, Makio learns that there's more to school than just tests and studying, and he must navigate his way through difficult situations while keeping his true identity a secret.
