In the heart of Tokyo, a young artist named Shiratori Ryuushi moves into an old-fashioned apartment complex, Narutaki-so, to pursue his dream of becoming a famous children's book author. However, his new home is inhabited by a cast of quirky and bizarre characters, including his enigmatic landlady, Aoba Kozue. As Ryuushi navigates his new life in the city, he finds himself surrounded by an eccentric community that challenges his perceptions and tests his creativity. Will he be able to find inspiration amidst the chaos and make his dreams a reality?
