Lurk

Lurk is a gripping drama series set in post-WWII China, where a Communist Party underground worker, Yu Zecheng, must navigate the treacherous world of espionage and political intrigue. As an undetected spy within the Kuomintang secret service, Yu must keep his true identity hidden and agree to marry a quick-tempered guerrilla fighter, Wang Cuiping. Together, they work to obtain valuable information for their organization, all while trying to protect their covers and keep their growing feelings for each other hidden. But as Liberation Day approaches, Yu is taken away by the KMT secret police on a secret service assignment to Taiwan, leaving Cuiping behind and forcing him to spend the rest of his life in hiding, always looking over his shoulder, never able to fully embrace the life he has built. Will Yu be able to survive the dangerous world of espionage and find his way back to the woman he loves?
