Locodol

In the small town of Nagarekawa, high school student Nanako Usami is unexpectedly chosen to become the local idol, alongside her senpai Yuriko Kohinata, who appears to be the perfect choice for the role. However, Yuriko turns out to be a bit of an airhead, and the two girls must work together to promote their town through interviews at the local mall, appearances on a low-budget TV station, and concerts on the roof of a department store. Despite their differences, they become the stars of Nagarekawa Girls, a local idol group, and their salaries are paid for by the town's taxpayers.
