In the picturesque Scottish Highlands, a monster lurks in the shadows, not in the famous Loch Ness lake, but among the people. Detective Annie Redford is tasked with solving her first murder case when a body is found at the foot of a mountain, accompanied by a mysterious heart. As she delves deeper into the investigation, she discovers that the truth behind the killings is far more sinister than she could have ever imagined. With the help of her team, including Blake Albrighton, a seasoned pathologist, Annie must race against time to stop the serial killer before they strike again.
