Shadows of the Past

In the small village of Santa Lucía, two families, the Mendozas and the Alcocers, are entangled in a web of passion, pain, and revenge that spans generations. The Mendozas, led by Severiano and Candela, are a wealthy and powerful family who own a lavish ranch, "Las Ánimas," and are known for their opulence and influence. The Alcocers, on the other hand, are a hardworking family, but their humble lifestyle does nothing to alleviate Roberta's deep-seated inferiority complex. As the families' lives intertwine, secrets and lies threaten to tear them apart. Roberta's illicit affair with Severiano sets off a chain of events that will alter the course of their lives forever. When Aldonza, Roberta's daughter, and Cristóbal, Severiano's son, fall in love despite their families' animosity, they must confront the dark shadows of their past to find happiness.
