In a world where supernatural creatures threaten humanity, two teenagers, Yoshimori Sumimura and Tokine Yukimura, must defend their school and the surrounding town from the spirits drawn to the sacred land upon which it is built. Yoshimori and Tokine are heirs to rival families of kekkai users, who have the power to create barriers and defeat these malevolent beings. but their families have been at odds for generations, and they must navigate their complicated history while protecting their community. With Yoshimori's determination to become stronger and Tokine's natural talent, they work together to defend their home and uncover the secrets of their families' past.
