Yuuichi, a high school student, returns to a town he visited 7 years ago, but his memories of that time are hazy and unclear. He reconnects with his cousin Nayuki and meets several mysterious girls, including Ayu, who claims to have known him in the past. As Yuuichi spends more time with them, his memories slowly return, revealing pieces of a painful past he had long forgotten. With the help of these girls, Yuuichi must confront the truth about his past and the reason for his memory loss. Kanon 2006 is a 24-episode anime series that explores themes of love, friendship, and the power of memory.
