Kakuriyo -Bed & Breakfast for Spirits- is a series that follows the story of Aoi, a university student who can see spirits. After her grandfather's passing, she inherits his ability to see ayakashis. One day, while feeding some spirits, an ogre appears and demands she pay her grandfather's debt by marrying him. Aoi refuses and decides to work at the Tenjin-ya bed and breakfast for the ayakashi to pay back what her family owes.
