"Jul i Valhal" is a Danish television advent calendar that tells the story of two children, Sofie and Jonas, who embark on a thrilling adventure with the Norse gods. When Sofie's mother, Tove, is told she must move to Singapore for work, Sofie is devastated and seeks solace in exploring the nearby woods. There, she discovers an old dolmen and accidentally awakens the god Loki, who has been chained within. As Loki attempts to escape and begin Ragnarok, the end of the world, Sofie and Jonas team up to stop him and save humanity. Along their journey, they encounter various gods and giants from Norse mythology and learn valuable lessons about friendship and loyalty. Will they succeed in stopping Loki before it's too late?
