In this mystical drama series, a young woman named Saori Fujiwara returns home from work and unwinds with a peaceful nap, only to be suddenly transported back in time to the Heian period. There, she encounters a handsome and mysterious man dressed in traditional clothing, who introduces himself as Genji Hikaru, the legendary protagonist of Japan's most famous literary work, "The Tale of Genji." As Saori spends more time with Genji, she finds herself becoming increasingly entwined in a world of ancient royalty and mythical creatures, all while struggling to reconcile her modern life with this fantastical new reality.
