Hope and Glory

Hope and Glory is a powerful and uplifting drama series that follows the transformation of a struggling comprehensive school. When a new headmaster, Ian George, arrives at Hope Park Comprehensive, he finds a school in disarray, with disaffected students and teachers. Despite the challenges, he sees potential in the school and its students, and with the help of his dedicated team, including Deputy Head Debbie "Debs" Bryan, he sets out to turn the school around. Through his unwavering belief in the students and his innovative approach to education, Ian is able to breathe new life into the school, and hope and glory are restored. The series features a talented cast, including Peter Davison, Philip Whitchurch, and Richard Griffiths.
