In a world where magic exists but is shrouded in mystery, a young witch named Zero embarks on a perilous quest to find a powerful grimoire that could bring about the apocalypse. Joining her on this adventure is a half-human, half-beast mercenary who despises witches but has agreed to protect Zero in exchange for her promise to make him fully human once she achieves her goal.
