Germinal

In the midst of France's industrial revolution, a young man named Etienne Lantier finds himself at the forefront of a worker's rebellion. After being hired at the Montsou mines, he witnesses the harsh conditions his fellow miners endure and becomes determined to fight for justice. Despite facing violent repression, Etienne rallies his comrades and leads a strike that will change the course of history.
