Fortress Besieged

In the 1930s, Fang Hung-chien, a clumsy and careless man, finds himself stuck in a series of misfortunes after returning to China from studying abroad. Despite his efforts to secure a fake degree, he is unable to escape the arranged marriage his father has planned for him. As he navigates his way through various mishaps and cultural expectations, Fang must confront the harsh realities of adulthood and face the consequences of his own mistakes. Will he find a way to break free from the constraints of his predetermined path, or will he succumb to the pressures of society?
