In the quirky town of Rysberg, a family of vampires runs a thriving scare hotel, catering to the undead and the living alike. Drak-Olle, the laid-back son, does his best to avoid work, while his mother, Vampyrella, has given up her TV show in Transylvania to focus on her passion for baking. His sister, Bettan, works as a part-time manager at Bloodcenter, and his father, Uffe, has moved to Transsylvania to study at the prestigious Huggworth School. But when Uffe's replacement, the eccentric and pesky Albett Gaddstein, arrives as a live-in student, he shakes things up and causes chaos in the family.
