The River

In the remote norther borderlands, a young girl discovers the remains of a body by a river. When her family refuses to get involved, she runs away from home. Detective Thomas Lønnhøiden is tasked with solving the mysterious case, which leads him to uncover secrets from his own family's past. As he delves deeper, he realizes that the murder is just one piece in a larger international political game that dates back to the Cold War. With espionage, secret services, and government cover-ups, Thomas's investigation becomes increasingly complex, putting him and those he loves in grave danger.
