Gary Hobson, a stockbroker living in Chicago, is struggling to make sense of his life after his wife leaves him and he's forced to move into a hotel. But things take a mysterious turn when he starts receiving the Chicago Sun-Times newspaper a day in advance, with knowledge of the potential future. Armed with this newfound power, Gary sets out to prevent tragedies and help those in need, all while trying to uncover the source of the paper and its secrets. Joined by his friends Chuck and Marissa, Gary must navigate the moral dilemmas that come with knowing what's to come and decide how he wants to use his gift. But as he delves deeper into the mystery, Gary begins to realize that changing the future comes at a cost. Will he be able to balance his new responsibilities with his own personal life?
