Double Trouble is a heartwarming and hilarious adventure about two identical twin sisters, Yuma and Kyanna, who were separated at birth and raised in completely different worlds. Yuma grew up in the bustling city of Sydney with her European-Australian father, while Kyanna lived in a remote traditional Aboriginal community in Central Australia with her mother. After a chance encounter, the girls devise a plan to switch places and experience each other's vastly different lives. But as they navigate their new surroundings, they must keep their true identities a secret from their families and communities. Will they be able to pull off the ultimate switcheroo and find a way back to their original families?
