Episode 1

55min - Fourteen-year-old Holly writes a school essay detailing her stepfather's violence. Lars Madsen, an experienced social worker, steps in to remove Holly and her brother Theo from their home.

Episode 2

51min - Dea and Simon decide to hire a lawyer to bring their own case against social services. At the foster home, Holly nervously waits for her mother's reaction to her essay.

Episode 3

55min - Lars begins to doubt Holly's version of events. Dea comes to see Theo play football but it doesn't work out well. Theo is interviewed on video by the police.

Episode 4

47min - On his birthday, Theo runs back to his home. Simon takes the opportunity to make a celebration of it. Holly becomes interested in her foster family's son.

44min - A video of Lars fetching Theo goes viral and Lars feels the full weight of public outrage. Simon is emboldened by the online support, but the episode puts Dea's job in danger.

Episode 6

50min - Lars is convinced that there is something wrong with the family and concentrates on Dea whose relationship with Simon is fraying. Holly tests her boundaries at a party.

50min - A war of words develops between Dea's lawyers and the social services team. Holly feels traumatised about testifying at the hearing. Will the children return to live with their parents?

Episode 8

53min - Dea is keen to create a positive vibe, but Simon is paranoid around Holly who won't take part in a family reunion. Lars pays a visit to Holly but is confronted by Simon. Can Lars do anything to help?
