In a future world where a mysterious hyperspace gate has connected two vastly different realms, a jaded ex-soldier and detective named Kei Matoba finds himself forced to team up with an alternate-world knight named Tirana. Despite their differences in gender, personality, and origin, they must work together to take on the rampant crime and corruption that plagues their city, San Teresa. As they navigate the dangerous underworld, they'll encounter everything from drug lords to demonic cults, all while trying to stay alive and unravel the mysteries of their strange new world.
