In the fast-paced, eccentric world of video game development, Code Monkeys follows the misadventures of GameaVision, a fictional company filled with quirky characters. Lead programmer Dave, a slacker with a penchant for drugs and sex, and his uptight, responsible friend Jerry are the main focus. But they're not the only ones causing chaos - there's also Jerry's crush Mary, who's constantly rejected by her co-workers; Todd, the narcissistic fantasy game designer; Black Steve, the foul-mouthed accountant; and Clarence, the flamboyant audio designer. Throw in a Texan billionaire boss, a muscular son, and a Korean child adopted for game testing, and you've got a recipe for disaster. With its crude humor and stoner comedy, Code Monkeys references video games past and present, while poking fun at Silicon Valley's 1980s tech scene.
