Chihaya, a young girl, has always dreamed of supporting her sister's modeling career. However, when she meets a boy named Arata, he introduces her to the traditional Japanese card game, Karuta, and she discovers her true passion and talent. Chihaya becomes determined to become the best Karuta player in Japan, but her friends, including Arata, have different paths in life. As they go their separate ways, Chihaya continues to play Karuta, hoping to one day reunite with her friends and fulfill their shared dream.
