Better Life

In the tumultuous world of 1980s Yugoslavia, the Popadić family is struggling to adapt to the rapid political and economic changes. Patriarch Dragiša, a hot-headed administrator, and his cultured wife Emilija, a high school teacher, are fighting to keep their family afloat amidst financial struggles and generational clashes. Their three grown-up children are trying to find their place in the world, but their choices are not always aligned with their parents' expectations. As the family navigates through the ups and downs of life, they must confront their own flaws and insecurities, all while trying to maintain a sense of normalcy in a society on the brink of change. Will they be able to overcome their differences and find a better life, or will their secrets and weaknesses tear them apart?
