Black Kite

Black Kite follows the story of Yasu, a rugged and unapologetic man who grew up without parents. Despite his tough exterior, he is a devoted husband and father, and he and his wife Misako live a happy life with their young son Akira. Tragedy strikes when Misako dies in a freak accident, leaving Yasu to raise their three-year-old son on his own. Struggling with grief and guilt, Yasu must learn to navigate the challenges of single parenthood and help Akira grow into a strong and capable young man. Along the way, he receives support from his friends and learns the true meaning of family and love.
